MY FUSSELL FAMILY |
My start into my family history started with me looking for my fathers mother, she died in Wales when she was 32 years of age. See My GEORGE family page. She married my grandfather Gilbert Frank FUSSELL who was born in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, UK. My first start was joining the Wessex plus list at Rootsweb and asking if anyone knew of or was researching the same family. By a stroke of luck Phillip Clements was on the list and he had copied all the parish records of the area and was able at a stroke to give me my family back to Thomas FUSSELL my 4xgrandfather. I also have a marriage certificate for my ggrandfather Edward FUSSELL who married Lily EMERY in Bristol in 1896. Lily and her family are also on the previously mentioned site so I have a ready made history. No fun you might think, but this site has also made me look for more and I have done this.
