My DAD
My father Douglas Edward Fussell was born the 1st May 1921. His father Gilbert Fussell and mother Elizabeth Jane nee George. Elizabeth died when Dad was only 8 years of age.
Not sure how old Dad is here, a schoolboy of 7 or 8 years perhaps?
Dad with Mum Vera Smith on their wedding day 24th April 1942 in Carcroft Yorkshire. Dad was sent there in training during WW2.
